Thank you for showing your interest, Yes I do and I’ll be more than happy to paint a commission / bespoke for you , if you have an idea in mind of how you want your piece to look like then I could execute that for you with my own creative ideas once you and I have interacted further more on it, I will require you to help me with the exact dimensions / measurements, your choice of color palette ( if any ), and also with a picture of your room where you intend to hang the painting so I could email you a picture of your custom order for your approval prior to dispatch and also help you with a few sample previews of how the painting could look like on your wall once it’s completed. I generally prefer to have the freedom to produce my best work and allow one or two set of changes considering to be fair and happy from both ends. The estimated lead time will be 8 to 10 weeks from the date the non-refundable deposit is received, however conditions do apply based on the size of the artwork and the craftmanship that goes into the making of the painting.

Generally, my most preferred commissions I undertake are mostly with clients that love and enjoy my overall body of work and style and want me to create a work for them, therefore you could provide me with a sample of any two of my paintings so I get an idea as to what you are looking for. 

Please note, that the price of the painting entirely depends on the size of work and the style that is requested, please bear in mind that all commissioned works are subjected to a 50% non-refundable advance deposit at the time of booking the order and the remaining 50% after completion of the project. You will be provided with an estimation of the overall cost of the painting prior to begin with the painting process.

Each painting that I work on has its own pace depending on the size of the painting, the level of inspirations, thought flows, creative ideas and the workload that I carry each day, I do them in a couple of sessions and each of the session containing an ample number of dedicated hours to it, but having said that I don’t generally prolong or take my own sweet time, I set a deadline to myself based on the priorities and projects that I undertake for my clients, you could expect an approximate turn around time anywhere between 8 to 10 weeks for a commissioned artwork to complete. ( conditions apply )

Generally, There are no additional charges for the packaging & shipping to any of my customers, however in some unpredictable situations when the customer chooses to return the painting and wishes to go for a refund, in such a scenario the customer is expected to follow the standard return policies specified in the ” Terms & Conditions ” page, post which if the customer qualifies to receive a refund then they will be deducted the packaging & shipping cost which was initially borne by the artist and the remaining amount will be refunded accordingly, Please feel free to email me at [email protected] for any further clarifications on this concern.

For all orders within India, the painting will be securely packed in an commercial custom made timber crate or be securely packed in a box with a ” Fragile ” labelling on it, however it also completely depends on the size & weight limitations set by the Cargo / Commercial airlines company ( conditions applied ), If the size or the weight of the painting exceeds the limit then the alternative shipping approach taken is to un-stretch the canvas from the stretcher bars and securely roll pack them in a shipping tube with all of the protection parameters applied. The mode of shipment will be communicated accordingly to the customer.

For all the international orders, the painting will be shipped rolled by default. It will be customers responsibility to re-stretch the canvas with the help of a local framer and if you want us to ship the painting directly to the framer you will have to let us know well in advance along with the framers shipping address at the time of purchase.

That truly is unfortunate which rarely is the case generally, I work very hard to capture the ideas that my collectors have in mind and I try my best to get an understanding of what exactly they are looking for with the best of my visualization capacity to match their vision or expectations as much possible but having said that there could be times when unintentionally I could fail to live up to my collectors expectations with the kind of exact output they are looking for, Never mind it’s completely human and can be dealt with,  in such instances 25% of the total invoice price of the commissioned project ( i.e. 50% of the advance deposit ) can be utilized in making a purchase of any of the existing / available paintings from website ( www.absoluteabstractslounge.com ).

We use PAYPAL for all our financial transactions which also enables the customers to use their credit / debit card to transact or make payments via PAYPAL which are also considered the industry standards in e-commerce and supposed to be the most secured mode of payment gateway.

PAYPAL is not only the most secured but also equally convenient mode of payment accepted across the globe, it has an option to store your payment information on your account which means you will not have to keep entering your credit / debit card info every time you make a payment, most importantly all of your monetary info and transactions are carefully monitored and encrypted to prevent any kind of fraud or identity theft.

We also accept other payment gateways such as Google Pay (Gpay) and NEFT for customers living in India, for international customers you could even choose to make a bank wire transfer, You will be provided with my account details before initiating a fund transfer. 

Yes, I do offer print options for my paintings through ” Saatchi art ” for most of my artwork, please do follow me on Saatchi art to keep a track of all my latest works and also through my website by enrolling / signing-up yourself to our newsletters to stay updated on a regular basis.

However an alternative suggestion would be to rather consider going with a smaller work of the original art from my website as it always carries a better value on a longer run than a print could offer you. 

The package includes the Painting signed at the back of the canvas, full tax invoice, Insurance valuation certificate (to certify your claim with the insurance company in case of any damages that may incur to your artwork) and a certificate of authenticity.

Please bear in mind that I run a few quality checks and also give my best effort to feature all my paintings in the website with a great resolution quality image displaying every colors and its textures as precisely possible captured with the help of professional mirrorless DSLR camera, however I do not take responsibility of how your display / monitor reflects the color and tones of my paintings and neither do I take accountability of its technical drawbacks.

There could be a slightest of differences as all of the paintings are hand painted and viewing an image on a digital platform such as the computer / mobile screen might cause some slightest amount of distortion in colors with a very least impact of viewing experience when you actually see the painting in real, A lot of time the impact of how art can project on your wall also depends on many other factors such as the type of frames used, the amount of light being projected on the painting, the size of the art or even where the painting is mounted, all these factors do contribute in the overall beauty the painting could bring out in your home and on your walls.

Firstly, As specified earlier, with a very minimal impact to the viewing experience there may be a slightest of distortion in colors as they might vary from computer to computer, therefore please make your choices carefully as refunds or exchanges are generally based on defective products and not on the basis of making a wrong selection or even changing your mind later on, however we will be glad to assist with a replacement or an exchange which will apply the standard exchange & return polices as mentioned in the terms and conditions, please go through the terms and conditions thoroughly before making a choice or placing the order to avoid any further inconvenience.

My abstract journey has always been driven by immense passion for creating something new and different using creativity and imaginations with pigments on canvas, so that way it’s the artistic process that kept me inspired all the time, however there are other factors also that contributes to it when it comes to finding inspiration, Music is definitely one among them and it has played a very important role in my life and also in my abstract journey, it’s been the guiding factor in influencing all my creative thought flows in my abstract process and expressions on canvas, Besides I always try and find an inspiration in everything that I experience or indulge myself with which contributes to my art process in one way or the other. I believe everything we do is connected to one thing or the other.

I’ve had an emotional connect with art ever since my childhood, I used to spend long hours scribbling and doodling, my folks enrolled me to art class while I was in 4th grade, ever since I’ve always had the privilege of learning art of different forms and genres, I’ve also had a formal education in fine arts and that was a value addition to my artist journey, I may not want to call myself an expert in all of the art forms that I have learnt since I’ve not been constantly in touch with all of them but even if I were to start from where I actually left it from I may still be decently good at art forms like sketching, mural art, Tanjore art, Mandala art etc. my involvement has been more towards abstract art since that’s the closest to my heart at any given point of time and at times I also try and apply different styles with abstracts as I enjoy experimenting with creativity and explore boundaries.

As far as abstracts are concerned, my preferred medium is premium quality artist grade acrylic colors but having said that I’ve also had a chance of working with other mediums such as oil, water colors, pastels, inks and so on… sometimes I also use collage which is usually fabric or even paper, I personally prefer acrylics coz they are non-toxic, non-smelly, easy to work with due to its fast dry time, however each painting is uniquely different therefore further details are generally listed alongside of each artwork.

it completely depends on my creative appetite and the flow of energy on every single day, I generally dont have a standard routine or a schedule as such when it comes to painting, so every single day could be different depending on the level of inspiration or motivation, but generally if you ask me I am more of a night person so majority of the time I prefer to spend my time in the studio during late hours at night all the way till the sunrise and at times I’ve even exceeded all the way till noon, that’s how it generally works with me when it comes working on any creative project.

Shipping cost are generally not the same for every artwork, they are calculated on the basis of your order i.e. the size and the weight of the artwork, the delivery location  / destination and also whether it’s being shipped stretched or un-stretched coz a stretched artwork would weigh much more than an un-stretched artwork, The stretched artwork will generally be shipped securely box packed in a wooden crate whereas an un-stretched artwork will be securely shipped packed in a shipping tube, all of these factors are taken into account in determining the exact shipping cost.

Normally I sign on the bottom right side on the front of the canvas, however it also completely depends on how signature friendly is the canvas after having completed the painting, sometimes it becomes difficult to sign on a textured surface so in such scenario’s I sign at the back of the painting, and also signing behind the canvas has its own privileges, i.e. you have a choice and the advantage of hanging the painting in four different perspective.

No, The un-stretched canvas will securely be rolled and packed in a shipping tube, therefore stretcher bars will not be a part of the shipment package, you will have to get in touch with your local framer in order to fulfill your requirements of stretching the canvas.

Scenario 2: I want to buy more than one product or a painting from your website?

Workaround : That’s even more a happier news and a pleasure doing business with you at any given point of time, If you intend to purchase multiple product or a painting at the same time, you could make a note of the paintings that you wish to buy and send me a list of the title of the painting, once you’ve shared your choice of paintings you wish to buy I will then create a customized pay order link which will help you pay the entire sum in total.

The second approach to the same scenario would be that you may have to make individual payments by clicking on ” Buy Now ” button on every single specific painting that you wish to purchase, if the products are more it could be slightly tedious to follow this approach, however if you purchases exceed more than one then I would recommend to please do let me know so I could customize the pay order link to suite your convenience.

Scenario 3 : What If I wish to modify my order once I’ve made the payment? Initially I purchased 2 paintings and now I wish to buy more or less, how do I go about it.?

Like every other aspiring artists I too have my own set of inspirations who I have looked up to in my artist journey from my early years and will always continue to do so, however speaking about my wide range of styles it completely remains very personal and diverse and is proudly my own along with a few techniques which I developed over the number of years through the thought process coming straight from the heart in every creative and emotional sense, if you ever come across or experience any slightest of resemblance to that of another artist in terms of style could be an act of tribute to artist that I am inspired by or a pure co-incidence as two individual artist could tend to have similar styles or we could even call it parallel thought process.

Post production process could be quite a tedious task and truly a mess if neglected, there are a series of action items that needs to be looked into before the artwork / order is ready to be shipped, it’s a detailed and systematic step by step approach which could be very time consuming, starting from preparing the canvas before they are shipped all the way until all of the other formalities are completed, we will have to look into complete end to end process with precision.

1. Applying two coats of varnish and allowing it to cure thoroughly before the painting is ready to be packed.

2. Thorough pre-packaging inspection of the artwork to ensure everything is in place.

3. Initiating Packaging process & applying all the safety measures

– If the painting is shipped stretched, then it will require an additional time and effort of getting a custom-fit timber crates ready by the carpenter or otherwise we also use the regular cargo standard packaging boxes applying all of the safety parameters to ensure the painting qualifies shipping requirements and reaches its new home safely.

– If the painting is shipped un-stretched, then it will follow a different process in terms of packaging, which requires the painting to be rolled in a shipping tube with layers of protections to it.

4. Complete the shipping formalities with the cargo team.

So basically, these are some of the important time consuming tasks which definitely requires a minimum of 15 working days time in an average also keeping other busy schedule and priorities tasks in mind.

It totally varies on each work and also how the customer prefers to have the painting shipped to their destination, generally with most of my larger pieces I’ve worked on or have sold, they were mostly unstretched and unframed. It happens to be more cost effective and pocket friendly in terms of international shipping. You can have it stretched later on from your local framer and also choose to go with the frame that suites your taste. Another option to choose from is have it simply hung stretched without being framed giving the painting a modern look to it.

Also please be aware that medium sized and the small sized paintings are generally shipped with black synthetic plastic frame which gives the painting a classy look. They come with ready to hang option with a tiny hook attached to it.

Yes, that definitely can be arranged. For any painting equivalent to an amount of $750 or above you could choose to pay in installments. Please send me an email and we could workout on the installment scheme that suites your convenience. Once the final payment has been made, your work shall be shipped across to you.

Generally, all of my art works are calculated and measured on a square inch basis and every square inch has a dollar value attached to it which may vary from $ 0.75 to $ 1.99 depending on the amount of time and effort that has gone into the making of the painting which includes the size, details, textures etc.
