“ Passion Wholeheartedly “, A tagline that’s not just so dignifiedly associated to my brand but it’s also very close to my heart, You don’t need to explain much when you have a tagline that actually does all the talking. It talks about what passion means to me and my rear-view journey connected with it.
Everybody has a different journey and approach towards their life and their passion. Likewise, everybody also has an own definition to what passion means to them. To begin with, I’d like to say that you should always follow your heart and chase what makes you feel good, whatever energizes you from the core within. I’d choose to go with something that I am most passionate about if I were to transform my life and make a living out of it, at least I’ll give in my best to make it happen. I have always believed in a saying that if people ain’t laughing at your dreams, you ain’t dreaming big enough yet, so dare to dream big and chase your dream with an absolute uncompromising passion because there’s only one life so make every bit of it matter larger than life.
Talking about what passion means to me, Passion means to breathe my purpose, to live with an unconditional desire and energy to chase my dreams, to be doing what I love doing the most, what gives me happiness from within, what expands me emotionally, whatever makes me feel like a possibility, a feeling or doing that’s worth no regrets, it’s about bringing out the “ do or die, but don’t ask why “kinda attitude in you. It’s about applying your complete strength into everything you want from life, because whatever you want to achieve in life may require equal amount of physical, mental and emotional strength and dedication to it.
I always enjoyed and dreamt of becoming an abstract artist ever since the beginning from the bottom of my heart, but it sort of took me quite a while may be until my late 30’s to realize the strong passion that I carried for it. Being so occupied with too many things in life, I somehow could not spare time to explore the creative side of me and hence my passion of being an abstract artist took a back seat.
Sometimes in life we all get into such a circumstantial crunch which makes catching up with our dreams very challenging and procrastinated. I am not saying that living a life of your dreams and following your passion is gonna be a cake walk, this is where the mental strength comes into picture. There’s a saying “ whenever the going gets difficult, it’s always the mind that fails first and not the body. “
So once you’ve made up your mind to never give up on your dreams, believe me every effort will be paid off at some point in time, it’s all about how committed and focused you are towards your goal or passion.
In the following random order, I’d like to highlight a few tips that I personally believe in and I felt I should share them so it probably may help you in one way or the other,
Whether your passion is a long-term or short-term affair, unless you don’t really know what you are extremely passionate about, it’s like betting on a horse that would never win. So the first step is to always understand what is it that keeps you motivated and driven, may be a little bit of a self-talk at times would be of a good help. It’s important to connect with your inner voice and find yourself and also do a little bit of a logical thinking at the same time to understand that we are all mortal and we do not have forever to take decisions. Few things can just not be taken for granted, so the sooner you are able figure out what drives you nuts in a healthy way giving you all the good vibes, then give it all your 100%.
Personally, I’d never want to do anything that I don’t really love doing or I can’t hold on my interest to, but I completely understand that everybody may not have that choice or the privilege in life because like they say it’s easier said than done, Therefore I’d like to make a point in a very generic perspective.
Loving what you do will help you grow in life because only then you can give in your 100% wholeheartedly, and doing what you love will help you stay motivated and committed to your passion. So technically speaking they both are inter-connected, further more to it, when you start loving what you do, you tend to explore your love for your passion in every sense possible be it from a creative angle or even from the perspective of gaining appropriate knowledge needed to drive your passion. It pushes you to do as much research or the homework needed. Its only when you follow your heart and do what you love the most, that your journey in life becomes a very fulfilling one.
If your passion means the world to you then you’ll somehow find a way to get there at any cost. Having a role model or an idol who inspires you can be a very good way to start off ( that’s my personal opinion ). This makes it easier to figure out the way forward, but please be equally responsible and careful in making that choice because it can determine where you could eventually land up in life . Having a role model in life influences your actions and motivates you so strongly that it uncovers your true hidden potential and overcome all your weaknesses. At the same time, be cautious because one wrong choice can turn the entire thing around.
Nothing in life comes easy and there is no shortcut to hard work, my personal philosophy is “work hard and party harder! “. It brings out a great sense of respect and pride in yourself and also a great sense of satisfaction, it opens up the door to success on a longer run because the harder you work, the luckier and closer to success you will be. It simply maximizes your endless growth opportunities making your life more fulfilling
Life as we know is full of challenges and surprises, we’ve all had our share of bitter and happy experiences and every experience has taught us something. So let’s be practical, everything in life comes with a price and so does your passion. To an extent whatever passion that you may carry, it does require at least some amount of financial investment if not more (depends on what your passion is) and to keep your passion alive and kicking it’s advisable if you could manage to have a job with a steady income that can back you up during your struggling period. Once you think you are all ready for a switch i.e. to take up your passion full time taking it to the next level and turn that into your profession, then you could either decide to continue to have both the incomes simultaneously functional or give up on your day job and focus completely on your passion.
The second approach to it will be an extremely non- practical and non- advisable, which is to completely go by your instinct and be willing to take a risk and have no regrets whatsoever.
In my case, my passion was never an accidental discovery and I’ve worked really hard to get where I am today, I’ve always given my best in whatever I took up, be it professionally or personally. It’s about enjoying your journey and making the best out of everything, it’s been a journey of extreme passion and every bit of it, I am just LOVING IT, LIVING IT.
SOMETIMES DISTANCES DON’T MATTER
